Students learning together in a bright classroom

Education opens every door

Helping every student discover the joy of learning.

We connect children and young people in Africa and the diaspora with educational materials, meaningful support, and opportunities to thrive.

Learning should feel possible, inspiring, and fun.

School Is Fun Foundation works to reduce barriers that keep students from learning. We support communities with practical resources that strengthen classrooms, encourage curiosity, and help young people build brighter futures.

Our focus is simple: meet students where they are and give them the tools, encouragement, and access they need to move forward.

Rooted in Ghana. Built to make school more inviting.

The initiative began in 2008 after a visit to Ghana’s Western Region revealed that children in fishing communities were missing school. Cynthia Allotey Danquah and Blaise Fensi responded by encouraging families to value education and by helping students access the materials they needed.

Early work included sending books and stationery to Akwidaa Primary School, helping families in cocoa-growing communities pursue Ghana Cocoa Board scholarships, and distributing supplies to more than 250 children.
